I love these prints and cards from paperfunk – totally hysterical!

I LOVE calligraphy. A few years ago I took a couple classes at the Society of Scribes in New York, and it makes my heart pitter-patter to see beautiful work like the envelopes below from Neither Snow (via Oh Joy) and menu from Design*Sponge. Totally AMAZING!

Lonny Magazine is live and I’m over-the-moon! It is totally FABULOUS – my computer battery is going to die I’ve been looking at it for so long! I was particularly drawn to a story about Caitlin McGauley, a watercolorist. Her stuff is SO fun!

I adore Maira Kalman. I look forward to her Pursuit of Happiness blog post each month with great anticipation. This month was all about how we got to America. It’s a hoot.

My book club just put together a bag of kids books for one of our pregnant friends (a tradition). It’s always a treat to see what everyone picks out. This drawing by Jane Mount lines up her favorite children’s books. What would be on your ideal bookshelf?

The drawings by Portland-based artist Kate Bingaman-Burt are featured on 20×200 this week. They’re so interesting – making the ordinary something so special. Totally makes me want to draw again.
