“Family” Meals

I will always love the hospitality industry, having been raised by parents who owned a restaurant and then working in the industry myself throughout my college years. One of my fondest memories of the business is the family-style meals we ate together as a service team before every shift.

Random House just recently released a book called, Off the Menu, which is a collection of recipes from America’s top chefs, created for their staff meals. Some of the contributors include Dan Barber, Danny Myers, Jose Garces, Andrew Feinberg and John Besh. I can’t wait to read the stories and try the recipes. Guess this is the first thing on my Christmas wish list!
