Sweetiepie

Last night I got together with a bunch of my girlfriends in New York City. We ate at Sweetiepie, an old-fashioned ice cream parlor restaurant in the West Village. I’ve been dying to check out for ages. If you’ve never been – go – it’s such a hoot!

The food is fabulous – our fave’s were: asparagus risotto, mac & cheese, fried chicken and the Claridge’s Club. For dessert (if you have a big group) you must Sweetiepiglet, which is a mountain of sponge cake, bananas, strawberries and six scoops of ice cream. For the non-dessert eater (myself included!), or anyone who wants to taste a fabulous cocktail, try the Sweetiepie. It’s made with champagne, St. Germain and pomegrante. So delicious!
