After much anticipation, I finally saw Julie and Julia tonight, and every minute was just as delicious as I anticipated it would be. Meryl Streep was fabulous as always, and Amy Adams and Stanley Tucci were both absolutely delightful.
It comes as no surprise that I have already ordered Julie Powell’s book online and look forward to reading every page. Julie and Julia have both inspired me – to cook and write. (I suppose I should probably go out and buy a copy of Mastering the Art of French Cooking as well!)
As a side note – I received an email blast from Media Bistro this evening before I went to the theater with an article titled: Hey, How’d You Cook Up A Book and Film Deal From Your Blog, Julie Powell? I waited to read it - I figured it might be a fun treat after seeing the movie. I was right, can’t wait!
